Food was nice and service good, I noticed it’s exactly the same menu as Hilton Canary Wharf.

Gig was great but only a short set so got back to hotel around 11-30pm, pretty much shower and bed…… I slept very well , bed comfy…. Shame it overlooks the car park although it’s well soundproofed .

Went to executive lounge just now ( 7am ) to grab a coffee, no breakfast available but was some juice and biscuits.
I recommend putting an extra shot in the cappuccino as it’s not particularly strong without.
Will shower and then breakfast before the long drive back to Norwich…unfortunately I won’t have time to use the gym but I had a look yesterday and it looks pretty decent with a good range of machines.
Will report back!
Thank you for the great report as always. Sounds like your stay was better than perhaps I expected based on other recent reviews especially the EL lounge experience. It’s quite impressive that they open the lounge at 7am for coffee etc. TBH I don’t understand the refusal to upgrade you given availability of other rooms and then the subsequent lies - at that point it would have cost the hotel nothing and created a good impression with you. I had a couple of small upgrades at Hamptons recently - they didn’t have to upgrade me but it created a very good first impression when they did so, making it much more likely that I’ll return.
