Had a fantastic 2 night stay at this hotel - booked last minute on points (38k~41k range) as availability suddenly appeared.
Hotel is split into two wings; if you happen to be at the other room-only wing it is slightly more inconvenient as the pool and stuff are all on the other one. It's a little inconvenient as there's a lot of elevators to take to go from one wing to another, but not a huge dealbreaker.
Service is exceptional as others have stated before. The set menu at the Flying Hog restaurant is fantastic and the staff/head chef is extremely hospitable.
The hotel prides themselves as a food paradise and the prices are pretty reasonable for the quality of food - even for room service.
If you are doing a one night stay, I highly recommend making reservations in advance.
We tried to get a meal at the Flying Hog Restaurant on our first night but failed because we didn't have reservations. Waiter advised booking 2-3 days in advance, but luckily the head chef managed to pull a good save and served a fantastic meal.
There were other restaurants such as a japanese omakase and a seemingly decent buffet - but because we were only there for two days, couldn't really try everything.
Breakfast is a standard set menu with 3 main courses to choose from - Eel with rice (Bansang), Abalone Porridge or a Western style surf and turf (Lobster + Eggs + Steak). I found steaks to be a hit and miss as they didn't ask you how well you wanted it - case in point, first day there the steak was served medium-rare, but the second day it was served well done - didn't really complain but was told that koreans seem to prefer well-done steaks and chefs don't prioritise the done-ness.
