Maybe the A/C went mechanical or repurposed on another lh route? Don't see anything for that plane on Flight radar though
Was booked on the 124, which was supposed to be operated by G-RAES and subsequently went into the maintenance bay. Appears to have been a fairly busy flight, and was automatically rebooked onto the next (morning's) service 4 JUL. Asked to be rebooked onto QR, but downgraded on BAH-DOH leg as BA rebooking apparently does permit rebooking up into "F" even though QR doesn't operate J intra-gulf.
