Sadly the lounge F&B does seem to have gone downhill and, unlike in other locations in Asia, hasn't restored the pre-covid service. Early on in COVID staycation time it was arguably better than the old lounge, that was on a high floor but offered good French champagne in an evening with great canapés and an egg chef in the morning, the main issue was space and it was hard to fit in.
During COVID the move to the larger location, with a similar F&B service in 2020 was welcome. However, as more people moved to staycations (many with status, but nowhere else they'd want to go) the offerings have dropped asElevatorEnthusiast experienced. The last time I stayed I think I had a piece of cheese and drank very cheap wine as the hot offerings were pretty dire looking. Champagne has long gone.

Let's hope the increased competion gets them back on track, the HK location still can't be beaten for the Marriott group IMHO.
