Is there only one? I am reminded of the trip to Liverpool with a coworker where we had a hard time understanding what the cab driver and (Hilton) hotel front desk staff were saying.
To address the original question, with people from many countries staying at global chains, English is pretty much the lingua franca. Obviously, hotels in Spain that are popular with German tourists would probably also have someone on staff who speaks German, but I don’t think they necessarily have someone who speaks Greek or Danish or Finnish. But most countries with a population traveling globally probably teach a lot of their students at least a basic level of English.
