So I did a guest of honors booking here next week for my brothers family of 4. I booked via points and noticed this location plays games with the suites where the Grand Executive King is considered a standard suite, while the Grand Executive Twin is considered a premium suite. Prices for both rooms are the same and the sq ft is the same although based on the floorplan the room layout differs a bit.

What's the likelihood that the hotel would allow my brother to switch to the Grand Executive Twin at check-in?

I have already requested a rollaway for the King room and know that there already is plenty of space for their 2 children to sleep via the couches as well. I just want them to be a bit more comfortable.

Can I expect them to accommodate or are they sticklers?

They are staying only 1 night if that matters.
