The latest redesign is an improvement, but it still could be better. The first thing I notice is that there is no signature panel. Other than the weight and feel, the back of the card is too plain and lacks contrast. I can barely see the Visa Infinite logo. A gradient like the one used on CSR would address the issue and provide some color. The card would also look great without the name printed on the front.
I'm still using the old old Reserve Card because mine doesn't expire for a few years. Was just hoping the card didn't get compromised because I couldn't stand the redesign. It looks so beat up from how many times it has been dropped and swiped though. So is it confirmed that they are back to like the old card? Or is it like the old card on the front, but there's still laminate on the back? Stumbled across this thread but it's taking me forever to read through everything. I was hoping other card holders were putting in complaints about the redesign as well...
