Purchased BA 294 business class via American Airlines miles for August and traveling with an infant who is too big for Air Belgiums bassinet seat and can only fit in British Airways infant seat. Between calling AA and BA I spent 3 hours on the phone trying to get switched to BA296 (A380) but ultimately needed to go thru AA to do that since I booked thru AA using miles. One rep said there was no award availability tickets to transfer to the BA 296 therefore I cannot change. When calling a second time, another rep said they will need to work with their liaison and she submitted a work order to get this flight changed. What’s the chances this actually happens?
