1935 departure from LHR this evening. Options were Gravlax with blinis or fennel salad.

I had the salmon, very tasty with mini blinis, sour cream and cucumber.

Only 4 rows of CE and 8 pax in total. IFM + 1 served by hand throughout. Excellent and swift service. I was in 1D and had my meal 7 mins after takeoff and G&T 2 mins later. They were very proactive with offers of further drinks up to the 10 min to landing call.

Overall I don’t think (very) short-haul J cabin service could be better.
