Here’s the circumstances:
I have flights scheduled MRS - MAD - MIA….All on ONE ticket from iberia.
First flight is Air Nostrum on crj -1000. Lands at terminal 4:MAD
Second flight to Miami is on Iberia. Departs 4S MAD.
I have 1:45 between flights.
The air nostrum flight is USUALLY late….according to information online. 10-15 minutes or longer.
I’m flying Biz class and will allegedly have “fast track.”

Here’s my questions: At check in at Marseille will air nostrum check my baggage thru to Miami or will I have to claim baggage in madrid?

If Nostrum is late, I have to collect bags at Terminal 4 baggage claim, change terminals, and go through security again, I’m thinking I’ll never make the flight to Miami. (I wouldn’t have to re-check bag for Miami since it is an allowable carry on size.)

Will air nostrum allow me to gate check a roll aboard in Marseille and give it back to me at the gate in Madrid on arrival?

Because of the schedule, my alternatives are either book a 6 am flight out of marseille OR book the Miami flight the following day and stay over in Madrid.

I thought I had it all figured out until I saw air nostrum flight is almost always late.
