That does make sense, probably more so than my 4 middle seats idea. I was thinking that the middle seat doesn't feel quite as private when a stranger is sitting in the other one. But easy accessibility amongst all members of the family is more important if the kids are young and will need parents to get up occasionally. Or frequently.
