1. Do taxi / limo drivers expect a tip?
2. In the case of cash expenses (such as tips) is it better to use USD or local currency?
3. Can I take prescription drugs (prescribed to me, non-narcotic) and what arrangements do I need to make?
4. Is it safe to use taxis or Ubers?

Thank you!
Enjoy your trip!

1) No driver will expect a tip. Tipping is an awful American custom spreading like a pandemic. Seeing tip jars in Bangkok makes me shudder.

2) Saudi deals in the Saudi riyal. You might get a chuckle out of locals for trying to use the greenback.

4) Taxi drivers can be shifty, especially if you don't know Arabic (or Urdu or Hindi, for that matter). Uber is fine, even if Saudi roads aren't the safest places to be!
