Howdy y'all!I am on LX 9 the 8th of July (ORD-ZRH). Swiss wants 850 CHF to upgrade from premium economy to business, which seems absurd especially because the ground experience at O'hare T5 sucks. Instead, I opted to place a big upgrade for this. My current bid is at 440 CHF (about 490 USD).
As you see, my bid is in the lower end of the fair range. The lowest possible bid is 330 CHF and the highest possible is 920 CHF.
On ExpertFlyer, it shows that there are 21 unselected seats, and 5 blocked seats (no passanger assigned). I am also not entirely sure how the blocked seat maps work with everything, but this is what it looks like.

(blue selected, X blocked, and white not selected. I am wondering if the blocked seats are saved for passangers who have booked SWISS business but not selected a seat, so SWISS is just pre reserving. In that case, it would leave 21 open seats, but I don't know if that is a thing)
I just really want the upgrade without having to pay an absurd amount for SWISS Business. This is my first time flying SWISS and doing bid upgrades so I'm wondering if anyone has any idea on my chances and if I should increase my bid if needed.
