Same situation. Just booked business lie flat LAX-BOG using UA miles and get the same error when I try to select a seat. Interestingly on the return used AC miles and the reservation shows seats assigned to us but I can't access the record on AV website. 8 hour flight so would prefer to be near each other, but lwill live. bigger issue for me is meal selection as I'm vegetarian; any advice on that?
