Random question...has anyone ever applied for a biz card, not received immediate approval, and then didn't hear anything after? Applied for P2 over 30 days ago for the IHG Biz card and got the standard pending message. P2 didn't receive any email correspondence after and when calling the biz application status line, it seems like the system has no knowledge of the app.
Of course calling recon is an option, but getting P2 to actually call is a process.
Just curious if this has ever happened to anyone before.
The exact same thing happened to my P2 when he applied for the IHG Biz card. After two days of not hearing anything and not seeing the card shows up on his Chase profile, I asked him to call in. The rep told him the app was still under review and he would know in a couple of hours. Two hours later, he got an approval email and the card showed up on his profile with $20k credit limit. (We will prob lower the credit limit after MSR is met.)
