Yes, back when I was Diamond with Hyatt Gold Passport and had a suite upgrade award. With status, and especially with status and an upgrade award, I would stay at the Hyatt Regency (unless I needed the customer-facing laundry of the Hyatt House). In my current, deplorable state (no longer traveling on OPM), I would stay at the Hyatt House, especially on the Loyalty Program Suite Points Upgrade rate. But, as I noted above, I was content with the breakfast at the HH.

While at the HR, I had a spectacular view of Manhattan. Nice as it was, I didn't spend much time admiring it. Most of the time, I was out and about or asleep.

Others may have different priorities.
