Upgrades can come through quite late here on the day if arrival. I wouldn't check in online unless you've been allocated an Exec, Exec with balcony or Exec Plus, the latter being the largest rooms.
They were doing automatic upgrades at the start of the year but these were just one category and would get manually upgraded further. Last time I was there it didn't happen so this may well have stopped altogether.
Thanks for the info, it’s appreciated….yes that explains why no upgrade yet….I will sit tight and see, I’m hoping for an executive room with balcony but not too fussed….thanks again, that clears up the lounge happy hour times, 5-7 suits me , soundcheck is at 7pm so will have time for a quick glass of fizz.
