The conspiracy theorist in me says that the frequency which I see rates of either 56,000 or 66,000 points is something coded into the system to push the rate above the certificate threshold if the dynamic pricing system lands the price near that level.
But then again this is Marriott IT. Basic math often exceeds their capabilities so surely they couldn’t have anything like that
