Hello, C1 just rejected me for the Venture and put the below reasons in my letter. Apparently I was a bit too eager in their eyes. I am exactly at 5/24 for another 9 months and have been approved for a new CC once every ~4 months or so over the last year and a half or so. I was seeking to take advantage of the Venture SUB and then downgrade it to the Venture One after 12 months.

Do you suggest I wait until my CC report settles down to apply for the C1 Venture (if so when?), or would I have more luck applying for the Citi Premier (no existing relationship with Citi), or the AmEx Gold? (I already have the AmEx Plat). Thanks in advance!
