In the other direction BA175 is considered the flagship service (with the lightest of touches) from London to Kennedy, hence the cocktail of that name in CCR. More could be made of this if BA wanted to exploit their history and marketing a bit more.
Why is that one the "flagship" service (and what 'lightest of touches')? Is there anything different about it? I don't know if I've ever been on the 175 (probably) but not sure I've ever noticed anything different on the various JFK flights, and I've probably done most of the timings by now. What am I missing?!
