I’m a word, YES! Partner and I flew from Vancouver to Bali via Doha just for the Q Suites experience. The only thing to be mindful of is that Qatar is infamous for switching out aircraft - so you should definitely set an hardware swap alert with expertflyer. If you book via Qatar, they can switch your itinerary to accommodate changes in hardware/class configuration, so try not to book via partners (ie. BA). Doha is a cute city and you can arrange a reasonably priced transit tour of Doha if you have time to burn. Otherwise, the airport has some great art exhibits and the lounge is second to none.
