The local NBC station showed crazy lines at 4:30 this morning (albeit in the Delta/United terminal). One passenger (again, not sure the airline but sounds like one of the ULCCs) said there were no seats available for 6-7 days after her flight was canceled.
There should be a new regulation, if you cannot rebook the passenger to fly within 24 hours, $5k compensation is due. This should teach them not to cut flights and aim for 100% passenger load factors.
