Beyond the initial release of Reward seats at -355 days - there are no guarantees of additional reward seats being released.
You may get lucky, even on the busiest routes it's not usual to see seats released within a few weeks of travel, but you'll never get any assurances that this will happen.
If you are keen to improve your chances then you may be wise to invest in a SeatSpy membership - you'll get alerts almost as soon as seats are released.
