My SIN-SYD flight will be on a separate ticket, with Scoot (so probably baggage interlining is even out of the question). If I do go with LX I will definitely take the earlier flight from BCN to ZRH as I don't want to risk any missed connections. I'd love to pop into ZRH too but I'll leave that for the inbound journey where I'm certain to have a morning arrival.
Ah, you mean the LX part would be on single ticket. I thought SIN-SYD was on the same ticket but a separate PNR. That sometimes happen when partner airlines use different systems in the background.
Yes, among other things E lounges have terraces, which is part of what makes them really nice. Views are great also from the inside though. Lots of natural light.
I can see about morning arrival, but personally I'd rather go after a local flight, so as not to risk being jetlagged to hell after arrival from Asia.
