Qatar Terrible food/service experience
Has anyone got any advice about what to do after a terrible flight experience with Qatar? Just paid full price for a flight from Denpasar/bali to Doha on the 777 q suites and had one of the worst food experiences Ive ever had. Service was chaotic from the get go, which wasn't a confidence filler, they seemed to be having trouble keeping up. Im very easy going with aeroplane food, I love it in all classes, most of the time. Ordered Parmesan crusted fillet of beef with gnocchi and seasonal vegetables. What turned up was one of the most inedible meals Ive had anywhere. Grey, mealy, tough meat. Rock hard gnocchi. Seasonal vegetables was 2 pieces of dehydrated carrot and a quarter of an onion. Covered in packet style gravox and everything saltier than the sea. Sent it back (a first for me) and it was replaced with prawns on mushy rice, again with a sauce that was 98% salt. I wasn't game to play roulette with the prawns, they were disintegrating and didnt scream fresh. To top it off desserts ran out and was presented with a freezer burned icy scoop of pink ice cream I wouldn't serve a 3 year old. One of the business class toilets also broke down on the flight, leaving queues for the rest of the time. A real mess!
I've taken photos and videos and made a complainto Qatar customer service but they're already beginning stock responses. So disappointing!
