irenem ), how are you getting into USA? If you have a full B1/B2, and you're travelling to the USA, you qualify for the UK Visa In Transit Exemption for this trip.
The exemption is not nationality dependent. *If* OP needs a visa to enter UK (s/he does), has a ongoing ticket before 23:59 next does (OP's routing qualifies), has a visa to enter USA (OP seems to have one but OP to confirm) and the routing ends in USA (it does) --> exemption is given. It does not matter what nationality OP is.
Yes, I have valid USA and Canadian Visas, so normally I would qualify for the UK Visa In Transit Exemption. And yes, I would need a UK visa to enter UK. My routing ends in USA
But my flight leaves from LHR the next calender day, and it seems this is a problem due to LHR operations.
