I would contact thw authorities at both ends of your contract of carriage plus write an official complaint in the book of complaints (livro de reclamaçoes). Seems like the new CEO from tiny SATA actually makes things even worse.
I could not see the Livro de Reclamacoes link on the English language version of the site. The link is only visible on the Portuguese version. I will add an entry to it just to keep this going.

This is the first time I ever had an issue with TP and I've flown a lot with them over the years and never had any problems before (maybe I should count myself lucky until now). TP is still my preferred airline for Brazil travel as it gets me closer to where I need to go (SSA, CNF) avoiding the hassle that is changing flights/airports in GIG/GRU (had my fair share of issues at those airports so I avoid them if I can). Therefore TP is a necessary evil for me.

Any chance that you can do a charge back with your card issuer for the payment for the lounge access?
SK AAR, at the time we were flying Y and we had very low Plusgrade bids on my itinerary which we did not expect to win (but we won), hence the separate lounge access purchase for my wife.
Lounge access was purchased with a debit card so not much luck in that front tbh.
Live and learn from your mistakes and do not repeat them again.....
