But when I look at the booking on Virgin's website and according to their CS rep, the booking is for Economy Classic. AF CS hasn't gotten back to me yet. Has anyone had issues with incorrect mapping between AF and VS before? Is Economy (V) on AF not Economy Delight on Virgin?
You have an AF ticket (AF marketing), so you are following AF rules and fare buckets. You indeed purchased a ticket in Eco. There is no "mapping" between AF and VS fare buckets and associated rules. If you wanted to benefit from Eco Delight perks, you should have purchased the ticket with VS and not with AF.
