I just went the long way round from the West Coast to Kazakhstan to take advantage of good rates on Qatar in J cabin, which is a comparable distance. I never mind spending time in Q Suites and think it’s one of the best products out there. I also have back issues and refuse to spend more than 10 hours in economy, so I found it absolutely worthwhile. While everyone will value their time and the flight experience differently, I’d absolutely consider it and don’t think it’s unreasonable at all. Above all else, don’t cause strife on your honeymoon so get your fiancée onboard.
