A beach resort sounds nice so I’m leaning towards that but only issue is that it might also be logistically hard if I want to see the Dubai Mall + Burj Khalifa?

I was thinking St Regis might be a good balance since it’s not on the leaf of the palm but it might also be nice to stay somewhere downtown to get city views?

I’m having a tough time deciding. I’m a solo traveler and only have 2 nights. I leave next week (yes I book late). Paying with cash and $300 budget
I'll be staying in the Taj Dubai in a Club Room with a Burj Khalifa view in a couple of weeks. What swayed me to the Taj were the rooms honestly, in a sea of beiges, the Taj rooms looked like they had more style and character to them because of the colors used. The Burj Khalifa views are nice and Taj hotels are known for their great service too. Plus I wanted Indian food one night and their restaurant is highly reviewed but under the radar compared to other high-end Indian in Dubai.

For what it's worth, my other main considerations were the Four Seasons DIFC and the Armani Hotel.
