You don't "get" 20 EQNs. You need to do 20 nights to earn Globalist. (assuming the targets are the same as prior years)
If you sign up on November 15th, you have 90 days to complete the 20 nights. (assuming time frame is the same as prior years) Which means you have until mid-February 2024.
If you have a stay from December 1st to 21st, you would become Globalist until February 2025. But you need to do 60 nights in 2024 to renew Globalist.
If you instead have a stay from January 1st until 21st, you would become Globalist until February 2025. No difference... except that you have earned 20 nights that are also counting for your re-qualification period during calendar year 2024.
