Bumping an old thread here.
I’m about to book BA 5965 (code share EI 165, LHR - DUB) and BA 8952 (code share EI 3258, DUB - EDI).
I entered the routes into the tier point calculator and both shown as zero. However, earlier info on here suggested codeshares do generate tier points. Can someone confirm if these particular flights do?
Secondly, as a Silver flying on a code share will I be able to enter a BA Lounge/One World lounge on these tickets?

I'd certainly hope that the BA flight number earned tier points on DUB-EDI as the BA flights seem to generally cost significantly more than the EI ones. I've given up using EI to fly to DUB from GLA as I can't justify the cost of a BA flight number, the measly Avios earned on EI never post, I can't use the BA lounge, and once the novelty of the ATR has worn off (about half way through the first flight on it) you realise it's a cramped noisy aircraft. My next flight to DUB from GLA will be on FR........ I actually can't believe that I've chosen to fly FR instead of any other airline.
