The hotel is super convenient, accessible by free shuttle bus or walking from the station just up Rte 15 and has an excellent lounge (as I recall) and an amazing breakfast buffet, complimentary for Platinum and +. If you're lucky, the European lady is still doing omelets there, she makes the best Japanese style omelet anywhere - it's absolutely perfect.
I'm here right now. Fantastic service from both the front desk and lounge staff. The evening food spread is from 18:00-20:00. There are alcohol and dessert as well.
The shuttle service doesn't run that late. I'm debating whether to head out tonight or not. I really don't want to walk 15 minutes from Shinagawa Station at around midnight.
The rooms are indeed dated. No USB ports in the room.
