If I book a return flight originating in the EU (WAW-IST-SIN and then a few months later SIN-IST-WAW) and on the return leg the incoming flight from SIN means that I miss the last flight from IST-WAW that day and need to be put into a hotel overnight, would EU261 compensation then apply?
