HadesNL mentioned, best to check with the hotel in your case as I think you may be better off at Kimpton for good upgrades. A colleague stayed just a week ago and he was saying no suites ready yet - though I can't swear by it.
Thanks for the information, this is annoying: I hope that they finish at least the junior suites until my planned stay in early August.
