Either way though, fingers crossed that you get the resolution you are hoping for. The A380 is great in business and also has the bar area to go and stretch your legs. So it wouldn't be a bad flight. Personally I think the seat is more comfortable than qsuite, esp if you can grab one by the window (others may think differently of course!)
Yes I think that is the case. I work in the industry so always think I should try and give my bookings to industry partners but I am more and more thinking it is just better to book direct with the airline. I booked this trip last year but any bookings Ive made this year for myself have been direct with the airline and it does all seem so much more seamless that way!
I was really hoping to be able to use this policy to avoid having a 2 night stop over in Doha which seemed like a good idea at the time of booking but now we are 6 weeks away from it, a day in 55 celcius weather with my son who has ASD really seems like a bad idea so I just wanted to get back to Europe right away rather than have the stopover. My own fault really - fingers crossed QR come good though and open up some space for the agent to re book me or come up with some other way of making it work.
