For the SQD calculator, we put a lot of time and effort into making it accurate, and as far as we could determine, it always rounds up to the next dollar.
That's always been my understanding, too. I should've been clearer that I was being a bit sarcastic that the calculation may be slightly wrong.
I dunno though, maybe it's rounding the taxes up?
I'm using my next flight credit next week and the taxes+fees add up to $36.50. That won't help us determine if it's rounding up vs. nearest...
Regardless, when the SQD is posted, I'll update here and we'll see if it's 1,662 or 1,663.

Can I just say that the East Canada Asia flight pass, despite the recent price increase, is turning out to be a
really good value when dealing specifically with Japan? When looking up the airport costs for the above HND->YYZ flight, I picked a day two months from now.... and the Economy Flex fare for those flights is already getting into the $3,000 range. Compare this with the $1,699 per flight price I'm paying. For someone like me who needs to go on relatively short notice, this is pretty boss.
Plus I'm in booking class M, not H, so the PY eUpgrade priority is higher, and the cost is 7 credits, not 10.
