It is not true that the card is being cancelled outright. Most people seem to be getting a letter that the card is morphing into the MBNA Rewards Platinum Plus card. The credit card number and PIN will remain the same. The new card will be received in October so you will still be able to use your existing card with the new rewards starting on September 13, 2023.
