If an exact SQD calculation is desired, it can be helpful to price out a regular flight and look at the airport fees & taxes that way.
For example, I just used an Asia East 6-flight Flex pass ($10,194) for a YYZ-ICN flight. I was credited
1,633 SQD.
Calculation goes like this: $10,194 / 6 =
1,699.
If I try to book the same flight now, I will see AIF + security + HST adds up to
65.46.
1,699 - 65.46 =
1,633.54.
Then round down, because of course.
