Just as “it’s all about the Benjamins” especially when the athlete or actor or plaintiff says “it’s not about the money”, in our game “it’s all about the SUBs (or miles or points)”. I take some comfort and satisfaction in these tedious and evil but necessary calls knowing that despite my saying “I need this (23rd) credit card, 4 of them the exact same type of account, to segregate certain specific spending blah blah blah” the credit card issuer is basically handing me several hundreds of dollars, allowing me to travel in a higher style than I'd pay for and enabling my “travel hacking” addiction .
