I don’t think that THAI is offering First Class cabin FRA-BKK at present.

If it were, then it used to be possible to buy a ‘Standby-Upgrade’ on the day of travel at the airport. The cost is €1,165.

However, Standby Upgrades cannot be used on award flights (my reading of the T&C).
