Chase Application Strategy Question

I applied for the Marriot Bonvoy Bold card back in 2020 mid COVID. I was under 5/24, but in order to get the card I needed to shift around my credit line. (I have CSR, CFU, Amazon, and United Explorer cards with Chase currently). At the time I was interested in a no fee Marriott card for the 15 qualifying nights. Fast forward to today, and I almost never stay in Marriott hotels (and if I do I have gold through Amex Plat). Instead if I stay at a chain hotel it is almost always Hyatt. So, I think the Hyatt card would be a good fit for me. Should I just apply for the card and talk to the reconciliation line if not approved to shift credit lines again? Should I put a little bit of spend on the Marriott card to make it seem more active? I have zero use for the card otherwise so I could always close it, but think it may be better to just wait and see how the Hyatt application goes? Interested to hear any thoughts or experiences.
