I monitor my bookings and from experience the email comes quickly. But I've not had a QSuite swap since February 2022 so they might have changed policy.
Previously if you hadn't had the email they could ask the back office to check if the swap had happened. Not sure if they still do that though.
So, the ticketing agent finally got QR to say they could make the change now - only to find that the service I wanted with the QSuite aircraft still operating was 'C' in all classes (even economy) when viewing it in the existing PNR - but when you look at the sector just in general availability rather than within the PNR it is showing plenty of availability.
They are emailing QR trade support to ask them to open up some space but I am not holding my breath. I don't know who to be annoyed with - myself for being bothered, QR for showing the flight as closed in all classes even though it is available for new bookings, or the agent in the middle!
