Also I skipped a flight and that did not hurt me. At KIX they asked me for my onward ticket which was from KUL to CCU , they did not bother about the missed flight etc. And the reason I did a missed flight was A->B->C was cheaper than A->B. It is called hacker fare in kiwi.com
They do not care about missed flights as you have already paid for it and is non refundable. Also it is normally point to point and only on their airline.
