Unfortunately it touched ORD which had its own share of ground stops yesterday morning due to storms that moved through Saturday overnight and Sunday morning, which then plopped right in the flight corridors between ORD and the east coast hubs. FAA had plenty of enroute advisories affecting ORD traffic throughout the day, on top of the ground stops/GDPs. Just a bad day to be on anything that touched ORD EWR or IAD
