I used my Mileage Plus account to purchase plane tickets with miles and money. This is for a domestic flight in the United States. Evidently I neglected to add my middle initial to my account. The problem is all of my government issued IDs include my middle initial.
Example John Smith is on my ticket
John P Smith is on on my Government issued ID.

Is this going to be an issue? I did request UA to change that and I had to upload a jpg of my drivers license. They said it will take 14 days to review. My worry is being turned away by TSA because of the mismatch.

Any help would be appreciated, I am totally new to this stuff.
