I think that's been the case for the last 30 years on that route. If you are close to midnight in terms of departure time on longhaul (and the tiny number of midnight shorthauls) there is a focus in getting the meal out quickly and no pre meal drinks round. Some passengers will be trying to get some sleep. That's not to stop you from getting drinks from the crew or the Kitchen area during the long flight.
Respectfully, I’m sure you’re wrong on this. And, just because frequent business fliers may not want a full service, doesn’t mean that the rest of us should be ‘short changed’. If I’m paying for a CW flight, I want the full experience, thanks very much…
