Most of the time, I just leave my shoes on and put them up on the stool - I always wonder if people or FAs think this is rude and/or dirty? My shoes are always pretty clean and in good condition. If for whatever reason I have to take my shoes off, I will always leave my socks on, for my comfort and others around me.
