If as you said they want to pay with their own credit card and get their own points for this purchase, they will by definition not be on your PNR...and therefore not get your baggage benefits from you being EXP.
To get your bag benefits they have to have part of a single purchase for all passengers that you set purchase (and they'd reimburse you since you can't have multiple payments in one PNR).
