It’s a really annoying glitch which has been going on for years. I have usually had very fast responses and refunds from BAH and now normally double check before paying, but on my most recent trip I was in a rush and forgot. I only ever got stock responses to my emails, giving me a time frame for a reply which never came. After a few months I called and was fobbed off with “you accepted the charges” and “they are AMEX charges so you need to speak to them” which I did and of course, it was nonsense. I then submitted a complaint, which again took ages and was unhelpful, suggesting that I speak to BAH, which I explained that I already had done….Finally sorted out by the Gold line when I called about an unrelated matter. They should have fixed this long ago.
